      天津蓟县中、新元古界标准地层剖面是享誉世界的同时代“层型剖面”候选剖面，记录着地球演化距今 16.5~7.8亿年间的地质演化历史，蕴含着丰富的地质遗迹信息。为加强地质遗迹保护，天津市地质调查研 究院对中、新元古界标准地层剖面地质遗迹开展了多期调查研究。本文在总结蓟县剖面地质遗迹调查成 果的基础上，系统分析了重要地质遗迹点的野外地质特征，确定了重要地质遗迹点的地层年代、岩石特 征、接触关系、构造特征、化石分布等，对地质公园建设、野外科学考察和中、新元古界地质科学研究具有 重要意义。

英文摘要:

      The standard stratigraphic section of the Mesoproterozoic and Neoproterozoic in Jixian County, Tian-jin is a candidate section of the same age "type section" which is well-known in the world. It records the geologicalevolution history of the Earth about 1.65 to 0.78 billion years ago, and contains rich information of geological relics.In order to strengthen the protection of geological relics, Tianjin Institute of Geological Survey has carried out anumber of investigations and studies on the geological relics of the standard stratigraphic section of the Mesoprotero-zoic and Neoproterozoic. On the basis of summarizing the survey results of geological relics in Jixian section, this pa-per systematically analyzes the field geological characteristics of important geological relics sites, determines thestratigraphic age, rock characteristics, contact relationship, structural characteristics, fossil distribution of importantgeological relics sites, and is of great significance to the construction of geological park, field scientific investigationand geological scientific research of the Mesoproterozoic and Neoproterozoic.
